    Robert Turner Associates is a young and vibrant multi-disciplined professional independent Chartered Building Surveying practice.  One of our principal specialisms is Party Wall matters.

    With a flexible and adaptable workforce we are able to respond to the need for changing resources throughout any commission with both our private and public sectors.

    With our communications process we speak with all our clients on a monthly basis to programme expected peaks and troughs in the demand for services.

    Throughout this process we can forecast and manage our skill base throughout the practice.

    We can then deploy and utilise the appropriately skilled staff to carry out the required tasks for each client.

    As an SME we recognise the need to be flexible with our resources in this way.

    Customer Satisfaction

    As part of our ‘Communication Process’ we provide our Customers a clear understanding of our services from the outset of any commission. We provide full conditions of engagement that details our services, costs, expected delivery times and any other associated information e.g. the clients’ responsibilities under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.

    Approach to Dispute Resolution

    Our significant experience and involvement in providing professional services throughout the construction and property sector has given us the opportunity to develop an open and pro-active approach to dispute resolution.

    We also operate a formal two stage complaints handling procedure and we are members of the Ombudsman Services: Property, the RICS Dispute resolution Service is also available for business to business appointments though we have never had cause to use either.

    We base our approach on the following principles:

    • Early warning systems
    • Openness and honesty between parties
    • Settlement at the lowest possible level
    • Empower at the appropriate level to make decisions.

    Our goal is to prevent any dissatisfaction . This approach is imbedded through all of our work from inception to completion and we believe it is one of the principal reasons why we have increased our client base within this challenging economic climate.

    Director History

    The company’s Director, Robert Turner, has in excess of 15 years working experience in the surveying field, during this period he gained a First Class degree with honours at the Anglia Ruskin University and won the Barker Associates Prize. Robert continued his learning and became affiliated with the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors (FPWS) in 2008, following two further years training post degree he successfully completed the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and became a full member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 2009.

    Robert Turner Associates was founded in June 2006 as a building surveying practice.

    Company History

     The company is committed to developing its employees and has an approved Structured Training Agreement (STA) with the RICS. Following Robert Turner’s achievements with the RICS the company became an RICS accredited practice in 2009; both RICS members and firms have to follow strict codes of conduct. The Practice is also regulated by the RICS driving and maintaining the highest standards.  In 2014 Giulia Galliani joined the Practice and in 2016 became a full member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

    Since this milestone the company has gone from strength to strength where new work and new clients have been forged.

    Experience and Local Networks

    The practice undertakes instructions principally in Essex, Suffolk and all across London including south west London and North West London. We have acquired strong and diverse experience and an equally strong local network of contacts including professionals, local authority officers, contractors, investors and clients.

    The benefit of this local knowledge is that we have the ability to draw upon our experience and network to provide a tailored package to meet our clients’ requirements. It is our belief that this is crucial in providing a flexible, trusted and efficient service.
